After the 2018 ITV series hit our TV screens once again, it didn't take long for the "real Harry" to come out and share just how smitten he is with his beloved Sandra, 54 years after the pair first married. After almost 60 years together, they could have fooled us to think the lovebirds are still in their honeymoon phase.
Whilst Harry is taking on the worst of what the Jungle has to offer him, Sandra admits that she misses him terribly and that this is the longest the couple have gone without each other throughout their marriage. Even Harry's son and former football player, Jamie has humourously confessed, "I'm going to try and vote him out. I want him to come home and see my mum and get him out of there."
But being away from Sandra doesn't stop her head-over-heels husband from screaming his love for her from the rooftops, proving his eternal loyalty on the show as he politely turns away Fleur East, Rita Simons and Sair Khan as they bathed under the infamous waterfall shower: "It don't interest me, that's for sure. There's only one person I want to see in a bikini having a shower and that's my wife," he affirmed during last week's episode. To say he melted all of our hearts would be an understatement.
"We've never had a row. Ever. After all these years, we've never had a minute's problem between us. And that's true. That's not bulls***. If I get the hump, she'll just say, 'look at you Harry, look at you, just calm down' and I do," Harry continued sharing on the show. Somebody, grab us the Kleenex, will you?
Sandra and their two sons are proudly watching Harry as he continues to rough it up in the Jungle, having completed one of the more gruesome trials on the show as he tucked into sheep's brain. It appears that Harry formed an unlikely camaraderie with TV presenter, Noel Edmonds, having completed several challenges together in the name of team spirit.
As she hopes to get her hubby back in one piece as soon as possible out of the Australian jungle, Sandra will be jetting off to meet Harry at the Jungle gates. Harry and Sandra are absolute #relationshipgoals!
