So what in particular got viewers talking about last night's episode? It appears that I'm A Celeb conditions aren't quite as strict as we thought, when actor and campmate Malique Thompson-Dwyer was seen holding a cheeky ciggy as he kept his hands low.

Viewers were understandably rather puzzled at the sneaky slip-up, convinced that surely smoking would be a luxury in the Jungle:
"Do my eyes deceive me...smoking in I’m a Celebrity? What’s going on?"
"Eh Malique’s smoking?? Thought you weren’t allowed cigs aren’t they contraband?"
"Am I the only one that saw malique smoking like are they even allowed"
Indeed, the absurdity amongst fans seems clear. Although, online commentators were quite correct, Malique was smoking a ciggarette in the jungle as permitted by producers. In fact, a similar case emerged in last year's show, where Jennie McApline was caught smoking on-screen and viewers quickly took to social media to inspect further.
In fact, speaking to Echo, I'm A Celeb representatives explained "If any celebrities smoke, they are allowed to smoke in the Jungle. They smoke near the camp fire and stubs have to go in the fire afterwards."
Is this a little too much leniency for the famous or do the other means of tormenting make up for a little smoking break in the camp?
