Whilst some Matalan stores in the UK are currently closed due to coronavirus restrictions, the Salter Slow Cooker is available both online and for click-and-collect (excluding Northern Ireland). Click-and-collect is free but there is a £3.95 charge on home delivery if you’re spending under £50.

If you’re looking for something to feed a larger family, Currys currently have a 4.7l Crock-Pot Black Slow Cooker on sale for £34.99, reduced from £79.99. This size is ideal for feeding up to six people. Alternatively, Wilko are selling an own-brand 3.5l Slow Cooker for just £12 – although there is a £5 delivery charge on top.
