Summer is on the way and many people are looking at easy tricks to achieve a certain 'look'.

You don't need an expert to tell you that there is no way that this would work but what's worse is that this 'home remedy' could also have some nasty side effects.

Many people are slowly starting to try to 'get shredded for summer'. Some are looking to achieve a certain 'aesthetic' and are turning to Youtube to find a quick solution. Of course, this is ridiculous, nobody needs to look a certain way and if that's what they truly want then no 'easy solution' will get them there.

Some Youtube channels such as OMG Remedies have been advocating for a kind of 'butt mask' made up of bananas and petroleum jelly that has been said to enlargen the derriere by two sizes. Now so far no science has so far been used to prove that this method works (and why would it?). But even more, experts say it could leave you with some unintended topical nastiness.

Dr. Diana Gall from online service, Doctor-4-U has claimed that the bananas are a 'common allergy and the proteins from the fruit can cause irritation' and banana mask could actually lead to rashes or a skin infection:

"Reactions can range from mild symptoms such as a rash or itching to life-threatening illness, so it's best not to take risks. An allergy can also cause contact dermatitis, which is a type of eczema that can be thoroughly unpleasant and irritating. You should always know what you are putting in or onto your body and seek medical advice if you are unsure."

Chantelle Thompson, the founder of Brazilian Booty Lift, also has something to say on the matter:

"It's alarming the lengths people will go to in order to achieve their idea of perfect curves. Although I applaud people not wanting to go the surgical route, they need to be realistic about what will work and what is simply going to be a waste of time... and bananas."

If you're really looking to improve the size of your caboose, we recommend some good old fashioned exercise and eating right. But just know, you're perfect just the way you are.
