Curtain fringes or mini fringes? More on the front of the forehead or open to the sides? There happens to be something for everyone. That's probably why the famous fringe has never gone out of fashion over the years. Even if it is sometimes written off by hairdressers or stylists...

For 2022, the trend is bottleneck bangs. But what is it exactly? The bottleneck bangs get their name because it is literally shaped like a bottleneck—it's a fringe that's short at the top, then gets longer and longer, gradually widening to the eyebrows. Not exactly glamorous, if you put it that way. Nevertheless, they are causing quite a stir!

The bottleneck fringe is a bit more technical than the homemade short fringe. So, don't attempt to do it at home!

Not only is this trend super stylish, but it's also easy to care for: wash, split in half, dry. You can wear it any way you like: straight, curly or natural. An expert from Jean Louis David gave a few tricks on how to look after your fringe:

If your hair is supple, and you leave your fringe natural, you can cut it yourself as long as you think about a few small details. You mustn’t cut your fringe in one go, you need to do it bit by bit with the ends of a pair of scissors. And to avoid it being too wide, cut only the sections between the edges of your eyebrows.

Margot Robbie fell in love with the style some time ago, and Dakota Johnson has always been a big fan too. Are you ready to adopt the new trend?
