We may be left wondering what happened to Emma, Ben, little Chandler, Frank Jr Jr, and Leslie, but at least we know what happened to the kids who played these characters.

When a child works on a TV set, the labour rules state they can only work a specific amount of hours, so shows tend to hire twins (or two sets of twins) to split the role. On Friends, Emma was played by two sets of twins during season nine, Alexandra and Athina Conley, and Elizabeth and Genevieve Davidson.

Later, Cali and Noelle Sheldon took over as Emma.

Ross and Carol’s son Ben also had numerous people play his role, the most notable being Cole Sprouse, who also played the oldest version of Ben.

Frank Jr and Alice’s triplets weren’t credited at first, but when they were toddlers, quadruplets, Alexis, Cole, Justin and Paul Cimoch took on the role of Chandler, Leslie, and Frank Jr Jr.

Sierra Marcoux, Dante Pastula, and Allisyn Ashley Arm eventually took over the role of the rambunctious triplets.
