The famous nugget was designed by McDonald’s to come in four different shapes, no more and no less. The four names given to these little bites of chicken are as follows: the boot, the bone, the ball and the bell.
Once the meat has been ground up, it is then made into four different shapes and then after they have been cooked, the nuggets are frozen and shipped to their restaurants to be sold. It turns out that these shapes are actually geared towards children and 'shaped uniquely for kids and kids at heart’ because ‘it makes dipping more fun!'
We've been dying for a 20-piece order of McNuggets for the past few weeks since McDonald's temporarily closed its doors. Fortunately, we found a recipe floating around online that taste almost exactly like the real thing!
Or better yet, how about a McChicken?
