Fifteen years after it was released, the popular romantic comedy Love Actually is still winning the hearts of spectators. Fans have recently found out something surprising about the film that we completely missed when we first saw it.
Love Actually is set in the streets of London during the Christmas period and tells multiple stories featuring a lot of largely talented cast members. Among the many characters in this feature film is Juliet, who finds out that her new husband’s best friend is in love with her. And we all remember Sam, the young boy that lives with his step-dad after his mother died and asks him for advice on how to make a girl at school fall in love with him.
Juliet is played by Keira Knightley, whilst Thomas Brodie-Sangster takes on the role of Sam. Although the two characters are both in quite different stages of their respective lives, the actors became stars only 5 years apart. Keira Knightley was actually 18 years old during filming and Thomas Brodie-Sangster was 13. Internet users were quite surprised to learn this little fact about the film.
Thomas Brodie-Sangster has recently starred in Maze Runner: The Death Cure, the last episode in this trilogy and as for Keira Knightley, her new drama Colette has just been released in cinemas, in which she plays the author of the French novel L’Ingénue Libertine (The Innocent Libertine in English).
