The collaboration focuses more on ‘clothes as tools that push the weather into different territories. And, it’s safe to say that their garments will be worn for winters to come.

This collaboration is actually the first for Gucci’s Alessandro Michele and we are all here for it. Despite the brands being on seemingly opposite sides f the fashion spectrum, Gucci’s post-gender look plays perfectly into the more unisex leanings of North Face.

It is a well acknowledged notion that travel leads to self-discovery ... embedding Alessandro Michele’s approach towards fashion as a powerful instrument of freedom.

Down coatsand a variety of weatherproof jackets will also either come accompanied by the iconic monogrammed double G’s or will be camouflaged with a variety of floral prints.

Also included the collection are backpacks featuring both adventurous florals and motifs from the famous brands and Gucci’s iconic kitten heels and boho bags for the 2021 ‘Epilogue’ collection also made an appearance in photoshoots.

And, perhaps the best part of the collaboration is that it also focuses on both brands’ growing commitment to sustainability with all goods being sent in recyclable and sustainably sourced packaging.

The luggage pieces from the collection will also be made from ECONYL, a recyclable nylon-like fabric made from fishing nets, carpets and other materials that have been given the gift of a second life.

Early access to the collab will be introduced through a raffle on the 23rd of December. Otherwise, the rest of us will have to wait until the 22nd of January for the collection to drop online.
