The man in question isn't the baby's father, but his uncle - the brother of the young woman who has just given birth. Until then everything had been going fine, but in the photo, we can distinguish a very chic outfit that the man's wearing: a white shirt, a black tie and a suit jacket. The latter admitted the reason, explaining that "the first impression is important".

Bad luck for him because, at their first meeting, the baby couldn't open his eyes to enjoy the man's lovely outfit. He wasn't even aware of the effort his proud uncle had gone to - but we're sure he'll appreciate it when he sees the photo in years to come!
The mother posted the photo of her brother and baby on Twitter commenting "mutual respect".
