Royal Family: This is what members of the Firm looked like when they were younger

Queen Elizabeth II was only 25 years old when she took the throne. Her coronation took place on 2 June 1953, in Westminster Abbey, London.

The Queen reigned for 70 years before she died in September 2022, aged 96. She is the longest-reigning monarch in British history.

Prince Philip Mountbatten joined the Royal Family when he married Princess Elizabeth in 1947.

Despite facing many trials, the couple remained together for 73 years until his death in 2021, aged 99.

Prince Charles officially took his duties as Prince of Wales in 1969, aged 20. He served in both the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy.

Prince Charles became the longest-reigning Prince of Wales. He ascended to the throne when his mother died in 2022, becoming King Charles III.

Princess Diana made her official debut as a member of the Royal Family when she married Prince Charles in 1981. She was 20 years old, and he was twelve years older than her.

After divorcing from Prince Charles, Princess Diana continued her charity work and remained the people's princess. She died in a gruesome car crash in Paris on 31 August 1997, aged 36.

In 2004, Prince William was a heartthrob studying at the University of St Andrews. That is where he met his future wife, Kate Middleton. He graduated with a degree in geography in 2005.

Prince William became the Prince of Wales when his father became King Charles III in 2022. He is now the father of three children.

Kate Middleton met the limelight in 2004 when she started dating Prince William. 

The couple tied the knot in 2011 and welcomed three children together. Kate Middleton is now the Princess of Wales and is involved in charity work.

Prince Harry was known to party in his 20s, resulting in several rumours and 'scandalous' tabloid front pages.

Prince Harry quit the Royal Family along with his wife Meghan Markle and they moved to the US. Together, they have got two children and focus on philanthropy. 

Meghan Markle started her career as an actress before joining the Royal family. She notoriously appeared on NBC's Deal or No Deal, as well as Suits. 

Meghan Markle married into the Royal Family in 2016. The couple then left the Firm in 2020 and moved to the US. She stopped her acting career when she married Prince Harry.

Sarah Ferguson married Prince Edward in 1986 and the couple welcomed two daughters together: Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice. 

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Edward got divorced in 1996. Despite their separation, they still live together and remain united in raising their daughters and grandchildren. She is currently battling skin cancer.

Princess Margaret lived in her sister's shadow, especially after she became Queen Elizabeth. She got married to Antony Armstrong-Jones and had two children. 

She lived a tumultuous life before facing several health issues by the end of her life. Princess Margaret died in 2002, only two months before her mother. 

Queen Elizabeth's only daughter, Princess Anne, lived on the sidelines as a young woman. She married twice and had two children: Peter and Zara Phillips.

The Princess Royal has stepped up since her brother became King Charles III. Now aged 73, she is often seen on official visits throughout the UK.

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Edward's daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice have grown up in front of cameras. 

Sarah Ferguson remains extremely close with her two daughters. They respectively got married and now have children of their own.

Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon was the wife of King George and the mother of Queen Elizabeth II. She went from being Queen Consort to being the Queen Mother when her daughter ascended to the Throne. 

The Queen Mother was a constant supportive mother to Queen Elizabeth II until she died in 2002, only two months after her daughter Princess Margaret.

Camilla Parker-Bowles met Prince Charles when they were in their early 20s. The couple fell in love but never made their relationship official as she was already married. The Prince later married Princess Diana but he never ended his relationship with Camilla. They both got divorced with their respective partners and married each other in 2005 after the Queen gave them her blessing.

When Prince Charles ascended to the throne, Camilla Parker-Bowles became Queen Consort. As he is currently undergoing health issues, she is taking on some of his duties and conducting official visits. 

Prince Edward is Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip's youngest son. He grew up under the limelight.

Prince Edward was named Duke of Edinburgh when his brother became King Charles III. He is often seen at official events and an active member of the Firm.
