Amidst Kate Middleton’s Mother’s Day edited picture fiasco, the need for a strong communications lead is very crucial for the Royal Family.

According to the Royal Family’s website, the Firm is now looking for a new communications assistant.

Royal Family looking for a new Communications assistant

The Communications assistant’s role will be based at the palace but they will also get a chance to travel in the UK to support official visits as and when required. The ideal candidate will need to have an ‘eye for detail’ as they try to ensure the Royal Family’s ‘communications consistently spark interest and reach a range of audiences.’

The Royal Family - who recently got two more pictures flagged - is willing to give over £25K per annum to the selected candidate. The successful candidate will respond to ‘day-to-day media enquiries on a range of subjects, including about the work of members of the Royal Family.’ The description adds:

The Royal Communications team promotes the work, role, relevance and value of the Royal Family to a worldwide audience.
The reaction to our work is always high-profile, and so reputation and impact will be at the forefront of all that you do.
Whether working on a state visit, ceremonial event or Royal engagement, you'll make sure our communications consistently spark interest and reach a range of audiences.

Anyone interested in being part of the dynamic communications team at Buckingham Palace can apply for the vacancy by April 7. The job is understood to be a permanent role that will provide many benefits. The vacancy comes amidst all the controversy that currently surrounds Kate Middleton.

Kate Middleton’s working from home

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton is understood to be working from home as she eases back into her work life. The Palace previously confirmed that she will return to her official duties by Easter, but Kensington Palace has now revealed that she has been keeping up to date with one of her beloved projects while at home.

The Princess - whose medical records were allegedly leaked - has hailed her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. The project aims at raising the profile of the early years development of children. Kate has been deeply passionate about this project. Last year in November, she beamed as she made her biggest speech yet announcing her vision for the future, reports The Sun.

The future Queen is now understood to be working on the project while she recovers. The charity has funded a trial of a baby observation tool. The results of this were published today and it is alleged that Kate has naturally been highly invested in the four-month trial - even while she's been on the mend.
