Prince Harry and Meghan pregnant? Spanish media claims they’ll make an announcement

Since quitting the Royal Family in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan have kept most of their life private. As they keep so much of their life private, the public and media speculate about what is happening with them. The latest speculations are about pregnancy.

A baby announcement on Valentine’s Day?

Spanish media, Marca, claims that Prince Harry and Meghan may announce their third pregnancy on Valentine’s Day, meaning tomorrow, Feb 14. They wrote:

Reports claim that Prince Harry and Meghan Marklecould announce that they are expecting a third child on Valentine's Day.

It is currently unknown where they have gotten the information from and it has not been confirmed by Prince Harry or Meghan Markle.

But if the couple were to announce another pregnancy on Valentine’s Day, it wouldn't be the first time.

Indeed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they were expecting Lilibet on February 14, 2021. Moreover, that date is also special to Prince Harry, as his mother, Diana, announced she was expecting Prince Harry on Valentine’s Day 1984.

Back in October 2022, Closer reported that the Sussexes were looking at extending their family, after the loss of Prince Harry’s nan, Queen Elizabeth.

A source told Closer:

They’re both very open to expanding their family and would love it to happen, and for Archie and Lili to have another sibling.

A third pregnancy would contradict previous statement

However, the claim made by the Spanish media is highly unlikely as it completely goes against a previous statement Prince Harry made.

Indeed back in July 2019, Prince Harry was interviewed by Vogue, and he said that he and Meghan were only going to have two children and no more. The reason behind this statement is the environment and protecting it.

I think, weirdly, because of the people that I’ve met and the places that I’ve been fortunate enough to go to, I’ve always had a connection and a love for nature. I view it differently now, without question. But I’ve always wanted to try and ensure that, even before having a child and hoping to have children…

Adding:

Two, maximum! But I’ve always thought: this place is borrowed. And, surely, being as intelligent as we all are, or as evolved as we all are supposed to be, we should be able to leave something better behind for the next generation.

The couple then received an award, from UK-based charity Population Matters, in 2021 for deciding only to have two children.
