Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have lost two more staff members from their production company Archewell.

Staff departures at Archewell

Ben Browning, internal content head of Archewell Productions, and Fara Taylor, who leads Archewell’s marketing team, are both leaving and will not be replaced. According to reports, their job titles will be dissolved.

Ashley Hansen, the organisation’s head of communication, announced the departures and said:

Ben and Fara have been integral to the creation and execution of many critically and commercially acclaimed projects during their tenure
They have expertly delivered content and campaigns that have exceeded expectations and made their mark within the cultural zeitgeist.

Hansen added:

They played a critical role in helping to tell the stories of the Duke and Duchess thus far and the couple remain hugely grateful for their support on those vital look-back projects, as they now look forward.

Prince Harry and Meghan expand Archewell’s operations as they quit their US-based PR firm

Lost 16 members of staff

While the couple didn’t officially launch Archewell until late 2020, it is believed that the most recent departures brings the total number of staff lost since 2018 to 16.

It comes as Rebecca Sananes, who was head of audio at Archewell since July 2021, stepped down in December 2022 after just 18 months in the role.

Mandana Dayani,whowas president and chief operating officer of Archewell for less than 18 months, also stepped down from her roleand was not replaced.

New hires

However, along with these staff departures are also new hires and promotions at the company. Serena Regan, hired at the end of 2022, has been named head of podcasts.

Shauna Nep has been hired as a co-executive director of The Archewell Foundation, the Sussex’s philanthropic arm.

Miranda Barbot is joining the company as director of global communications and press secretary, while Maren Thomas has been hired as manager of communications.
