Miss England Rehema Muthamia turned down Love Island as she was ‘busy’

Reportedly, the Love Island bosses were eager to cast Miss England Rehema Muthamia in this season’s Love Island, but the beauty queen was ‘too busy.’

Six years ago, beauty queen Zara Holland appeared on Love Island and was stripped of her title as Miss Great Britain after she had sex on the show. In the wake of what happened to Zara, Miss England Rehema Muthamia decided against going to this season’s Love Island.

Too much to do

DailyStar confirms that Rehema Muthamia, Miss England, declined the Love Island offer since she was busy with many things. The 26-year-old star said:

I was approached by Love Island. I thought about it, but I’m not there. I’m busy with many things.

After talking about what happened to Zara Holland, Rehema confessed that going on the show was a gamble. She added:

With life, there is always a risk when you do something. For one person it might be a negative experience and for another person, it might be amazing.

Although the star admitted that she turned down the Love Island offer, she still wants to work in TV. Rehema confessed:

I’d love to work in entertainment. I have a few shows coming up later this year. I’d like to do TV presenting. That’s a side of things I would like to tap into more.

Tricky business

Love Island is, in fact, a gamble for contestants as it can make or break careers. While Zara Holland regrets her decision to go on to the show; Amy Hart, on the other hand, is grateful that she took the opportunity, confirms The Sun.

Zara admits to advising Amy against the decision. She said:

I was like, 'Well, from my experience, I would probably advise you that you don't go on.

However, Amy was adamant about going and did herself great good from the show.
