Love Island may be contemplating Ronan Keating’s daughter as a contestant

As the new season of Love Island approaches, the list of potential contestants is growing longer. The downfall is that this list is pure speculation and rumours as the show is yet to reveal the official list of contestants. But the rumours around Missy Keating are strong.

Who is Missy Keating?

Missy Keating is the daughter of Life is a Rollercoaster singer Ronan Keating. Missy is also a singer and a model. If Missy were to appear on Love Island, it wouldn’t be her first appearance on television. Indeed the 21-year-old was on Dancing With the Stars 2022. A spokesperson for Ladbrokes told Daily Star:

Ronan Keating hasn’t denied rumours

The reason why Love Islandfans strongly believe Missy will be on this year’s show is that when her father was questioned about said rumours, he didn’t deny them.

Indeed on Thursday, May 19, Ronan Keating was a guest on Good Morning Britain where host Kate Garraway asked if his eldest daughter would be on the show. Keating replied:

I haven’t heard anything,

Adding:

You never know. These kids are busy, all my kids, they’re all doing different things. I haven’t heard anything myself at the moment.

The ex-Boyzone singer also mentioned that he does enjoy watching Love Island but if his daughter were to take part this year, he may ‘struggle to watch her find love’ as reports Metro.

Keating told Good Morning Britain:

I don’t know how I’d feel about it,

I wouldn’t be able to watch.
