Lili is one

Lilibet turned one today and she is in her grandmother’s presence for her platinum jubilee celebrations in the UK. On Lilibet Mountbatten Windsor's first birthday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge led the royal tributes. Prince William and Kate Middleton used their joint Kensington Palace account to broadcast an official birthday message on Twitter. They wrote:

Wishing a very happy birthday to Lilibet, turning one today! 🎈

The Queen saw her great-granddaughter for the first time this week at a private meeting in Windsor, according to reports. The couple's second child, Lilibet, was born on June 4, 2021, at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California and is named after Queen Elizabeth II. Reportedly, her majesty cancelled all the Saturday events for her birthday. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are apparently said to have spent today in private and together as a family.

No photos, please

While the entire royal family wished Lili for her first birthday, no one made an effort to attach photos. The royal family is no stranger to candid birthday photos for their kids, for instance, Princess Charlotte or Prince George. However, for Lilibet, royals did not post any pictures with their birthday messages. This is because until Friday Lilibet hadn’t met any of her royal relatives. Thus, she never really got a chance to get captured with either. So instead, the royal family members just posted wishes through tweets.
