Jo O’Meara’s new album

On the release of her solo album With Love this summer, Jo said:

A lot of people spent last year analysing what they wanted to get out of life, and I knew that what I wanted was to get myself back into the only thing I know how to do well. It’s been my dream for so long to make this record. I can’t believe it’s finally out – hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it!

The album features some brand new songs by Jo herself, including ‘Lay Your Hurt On Me’ which she wrote as a tribute to a friend who passed away from cancer. Meanwhile, there are also some throwbacks with a stripped-back version of S Club classic ‘Don’t Stop Movin’’ and an acoustic version of ‘Relentless,’ the title track of her debut solo album.

Jo O’Meara’s transformation

As well as getting back to music, Jo also made some personal changes in her life over the coronavirus lockdown. Many fans were shocked by how different she looked in an appearance on Lorraine in August. Jo credited her transformation to a healthier lifestyle, writing on Instagram:

Just goes to show you [what] dedication can do! Eating clean, training hard, quitting smoking, and quitting alcohol! I feel like a different person!
