After getting her lip and jaw filler removed last year, Love Island 2019 star Molly-Mae Hague has continued her journey towards a more natural look by getting her composite bonds removed. In a new video on her Youtube channel, Molly Mae has showed off her new (old) smile and talked her fans through the process.

Why did Molly Mae get her composite bonds removed?
Explaining why she wanted to get her composite bonds removed, Molly Mae said:
The main thing for me was to make sure my teeth were in good condition and my gums were in good condition because I got my composite bonds when I was 19. I don’t think that was a particularly smart move to be doing that so young when I didn’t need to.
Whilst Molly Mae says she is happy to have her natural teeth back, she is not so happy that they are, in her words, ‘as yellow as the sun’ after essentially not being brushed for two and a half years whilst they were covered by the composite bonds. But she won’t be able to get them whitened for a while.
She told fans:
When I did try and whiten them, the extreme sensitivity that I had was beyond the kind of pain that I could even explain. It was genuinely like a migraine, because these teeth hadn't been touched for two years, and were so sensitive and delicate that going straight in for whitening, for me, was a bit of a silly idea.
What is composite bonding?
Composite bonding is a dental procedure that can be used to solve various cosmetic dental issues such as fixing discolouration, filling in gaps or chips and restoring tooth structure. Unlike veneers, composite bonds are non-invasive and do not require part of the tooth to be permanently removed.
