A page-turner

Molly-Mae went on to say that when the memoirs are released later this year, fans may expect to read some surprising discoveries. She confirmed that the book, which costs £20, is now available for pre-order, with a limited number of signed copies and added:

I have been keeping a huge project a little secret from you guys for well over a year now, and today is finally the day that I can actually speak about what it is... So I have written my very own book. This is Becoming Molly-Mae, my first ever book.
It is literally my baby, we have honestly put so many months of work into this book, you have no idea, and it's been such a journey and such an adventure. Venturing into this whole new world of writing a book is something that I've always wanted to do. It's been a massive dream of mine.

Molly-Mae said in a video message that the book takes oversharing to a new degree, with anecdotes she'd previously only disclosed to close pals. The Love Island star confirmed:

You guys obviously know that I'm a massive oversharer, but in this book, I take oversharing to a whole new extreme. I've spoken about things in this book that I have only told close family members and friends.

22 years of wisdom

The book, published by Penguin Books, chronicles the influencer's moments, relationships, and life lessons. According to the Penguin website, this book will follow an adolescent who works at Boots while pursuing her dreams at a fashion school. It also explores her journey to Love Island and how she copes with stardom today.

The title of the book is identical to former First Lady Michelle Obama's biography Becoming, which was published in 2018. WHSmith shared the news on their own Instagram page and expressed excitement about Molly’s new venture. Tommy Fury, Molly- Mae's boyfriend, voiced his enthusiasm for the book as well. He wrote:

Just wanna say how proud of you I am... You have worked so hard on this, literally can't wait to read it
