Mal had only been there in the villa for a week, but Mehdi was on OG Islander and had a good thing going on with Whitney. Mehdi’s dash to the medics in the villa
Reportedly, Mehdi was not allowed to kiss Whitney in the villa because of an injury. Speaking on Love Island Morning After podcast, Mehdi revealed that he didn’t rush to kiss her because of a horrific lip burn in the villa. The 26-year-old French hunk was forced to see medics after burning his lips in the Mallorca sun and wasn’t allowed to kiss anyone.
Mehdi had to get permission from medics to go for the ‘much awaited’ kiss with Whitney. He revealed:
The first reason is, I have never watched the show so I don’t know what pace you have to go.

Being older I was like I don’t have feelings in two days, I need to wait for the perfect moment.
And then the other reason is my lips got burnt so I couldn’t, I wasn’t allowed to kiss. I got sunburn on my lips.
I saw the medic and she was like now you are ready.
Mehdi and Whitney were getting strong and going in a good direction before he was dumped from the villa after a public vote. The public vote came right after the Heart Rate challenge which led to a massive argument between him and Whitney.

Mehdi and Whitney’s ‘unfinished business’
On the Morning After podcast, Mehdi explained how real his relationship was with Whitney. Taking a look back on his journey and how many things were not shown on TV, Mehdi revealed that he’ll be waiting for Whitney on the outside.
