In just 24 hours, over 500,000 people have signed to help the NHS as volunteers during the crisis. Among these volunteers are former islanders.

Love Island star Montana Brown has joined the growing list of volunteers to offer their services to the NHS who are currently battling to help those in need during the coronavirus lockdown. Montana decided to just into action partly due to boredom and the desire to dedicate her free time to a cause that matters.

The 24-year-old Instagram star wants to help NHS by transporting equipment between hospitals as well as delivering medication to the homes of people in need. The influencer urged her 1.3 million fans on Instagram to do the same, especially the ones who are struggling with isolation.

Its a wonderfully beautiful morning and people are saying they don’t know what to do – including myself – so I’ve signed up to help the NHS. I’m volunteering to chat to someone who is lonely, someone on their own isolating, you can deliver peoples medication and NHS equipment.

Despite the good intentions, Montana hasn't been contacted yet... but she's not just waiting around at home for a phone call. The bombshell offered to do a 'motivational mental health chat' with her fans on Instagram Live for everyone who feels depressed or anxious during this hard time.

It's definitely going to take a toll on some people to be trapped inside for weeks on end. Incredible gesture, Montana!
