Love Island: Maya Jama seen ‘cuddling’ in a cab with singer

The new host of Love Island – Maya Jama – who has replaced Laura Whitmore after three years was spotted getting cosy with a US R&B singer. Reportedly, Maya Jama and US star Giveon were pictured together twice this week alone.

Giveon Dezmann Evans – the singer who collaborated with Justin Bieber for the hit single Peaches last year – did his best to hide from cameras. The pair first enjoyed an evening together at the London Fashion Awards before heading off to celebrity hotspot Chiltern Firehouse. They left together in a Taxi at 3am on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old media personality then invited the singer to join her at Mayfair restaurant Bacchanalia on Wednesday.The Sun claims that the two were seen cuddling up in the cab as they left. An onlooker alleged:

Maya and Giveon tried to avoid being pictured together, even leaving the restaurant separately.

They seemed very comfortable with each other and Maya had her hand resting on his shoulder.

Meanwhile, a source close to Maya suggested:

Maya and Giveon are friends.

Relationship status?

This comes after Maya was linked up with her rapper ex Stormzy last month, although the new ITV2 host insisted that they are just friends. Maya also split up with her fiancé Ben Simmons – Aussie basketball player – after eight months in August.

Giveon, on the other hand, has openly confessed that he likes to keep his relationships private. He said:

I’m big on funny. I think it takes a certain kind of wit.

For me, it needs to be something very private.

I’m not into a celebrity relationship, I’d like a nurse or a lawyer.
