Love Island runners-up Luca Bish and Gemma Owen parted ways three months after finishing the show. The two posted on their Instagram stories and confirmed that their relationship has indeed ended.

‘Unbelievable’ love story
However, it appears Luca Bish may have taken a subtle dig at Gemma Owen a day before the split. The 23-year-old fishmonger made an appearance at the ITV Palooza without Gemma at London's Royal Festival Hall on Tuesday evening. And when he was asked about the state of his relationship, he acted like everything was perfect and they were still in love. He said:
Yeah, unbelievable. She was on the phone before I stepped through here today and then I'm back up there tomorrow, so good to see you when we can and that's it.

He also added:
It's worth it when you get up there [to the Owen's Chester home] because when we plan to see each other it's for a few days, not a few hours.
If someone lives around the corner you can pop in and see them, which is quite nice because then we spend a lot more quality time together.
The couple reportedly even wanted to spend Christmas together but Luca added it would depend on ‘what family wins the bid.’ This comes after Michael Owen subtly also hinted at the impending breakup.

After the breakup news, fans quickly went to Luca’s last posted photo of him and Gemma. Manchester Evening News confirmed that fans flocked to comment. One wrote:
