The case has been finalised, and Rebekah has agreed to pay her former friend close to £1.2 million. Amid the trial, it has been said that Rebekah and Jamie are looking for a ‘fresh start’ and are considering moving to the US, as Rebekah is allegedly in talks with Netflix and Jamie has several teams interested in recruiting him.

Rebekah and Jamie Vardy could move to the US

As reported by Express, Rebekah and Jamie’s finances have taken a hit after Rebekah agreed to pay Coleen Rooney close to £1.2 million for her legal costs in the high-profile Wagatha Christie case.

As a result, Jamie Vardy’s net worth has decreased by 13% from his £9 million net worth. This has led the couple to consider other opportunities, one of them being a move across the ocean to the US.

So far, nothing is set in stone, but a source revealed that moving to the States is ‘the most likely next move’ for the couple, as Rebekah has had ‘interest in TV work there’.

As per Express, the source said:

The US is the most likely next move for the Vardys and is partly because Becky has had interest in TV work there.
She was in talks with the makers of Selling Sunset earlier this year. They wanted her to appear as the potential buyer of a luxury home there.

However, due to the LA wildfires in January, the talks were postponed, but the source believes it ‘could still happen’.

Rebekah isn’t the only one of the couple with an interest in the US. Indeed, according to the Daily Mail, Jamie has announced he is leaving Leicester City after 13 years. Since then, it is believed that some US teams, including San Diego FC and Wayne Rooney's former club D.C. United, are interested in the 38-year-old.

As mentioned above, the move to the US is not yet decided and may depend on Jamie and which team he ends up signing with. Even though some US teams are interested, some local teams are as well, including Wrexham and Birmingham.

This may not be an issue for Rebekah, who reportedly also has potential TV pursuits at home.

Rebekah Vardy also has TV interest in the UK

The Daily Mail revealed that the ‘little-known’ network U&W are considering a documentary on Rebekah’s day-to-day life. Per the Daily Mail's Katie Hind, the two have been negotiating for the last seven months.

However, it is believed that the network is hesitant to sign Vardy due to the Wagatha Christie case and the fact that she has been described as ‘mean’. A source explained that U&W are unsure whether the public likes Rebekah enough to tune in and watch a documentary about her:

U&W have been unsure about commissioning a programme because Rebekah has been so, so mean in the past.
The problem some of the execs have is whether the public like her enough to tune in. She has been so horrible in the past, so you can't help thinking that this new, grown-up approach is an attempt to reinvent herself as a nicer human being and change her ways.
