James Dean, Princess Diana, Paul Walker: These celebrities died very young

French actor Gaspard Ulliel died on a ski slope after being hit by a skier at the age of 38.

He left behind his former partner and mother of their child, model Gaëlle Pietri, on 19 January 2022.

In the United States, the world of cinema and television has been affected by the deaths of young actors such as Paul Walker, the star of Fast and Furious, who died in a car accident at the age of 40.

The interpreter of Finn Hudson in Glee died on 13 July 2013, following an overdose of drugs and alcohol, when he was just 31 years old.

Naya Rivera, who played Santana Lopez in Glee, died by drowning, after saving her little boy's life. She was only 33 years old.

Drug overdoses are a common cause of death among celebrities, but Angus Cloud, the actor in the series Euphoria, also suffered one on 31 July at the age of 25, a week after burying his father.

The actor who made his debut on Disney Channel, Cameron Boyce, left us at the age of 20 on 6 July 2019. He died in his sleep, having succumbed to an epileptic seizure.

James Dean was killed in a car accident on 30 September 1955 at the age of 24.

Marilyn Monroe died of an overdose of barbiturates on the evening of Saturday 4 August 1962, at her home in Los Angeles, California. She was 36 years old.

The music world has had to deal with many deaths that fans were not prepared for. Such was the case of Jim Morrison, leader of The Doors, who died aged 27 on 3 July 1971 after a heroin overdose.

Jimi Hendrix, the greatest guitarist of all time, died aged 27 after choking on his own vomit following an overdose on 18 September 1970.

Singer Amy Winehouse passed away at the age of 27 on 23 July 2011 after abusing alcohol.

The performer of All Eyez on me had been shot dead on 13 September 1996 in Las Vegas, aged 25.

The Notorious B.I.G. was murdered four months after Tupac at the age of 24.

And let's not forget musical princess Aaliyah, who died in a plane crash on 25 August 2001 at the age of 22.

The Australian actor tragically died in January 2008 as a result of an accidental overdose of medication. He was 28. 

Princess Diana famously died in a car accident in Paris on 31 August 1997. She was 36 years old.  

Kurt Cobain tragically took his own life at 27 years old. His body was found with a visible gunshot wound to the head, the weapon was across his lap, and there was a suicide note nearby. 

Whitney Houston's name is etched in history for being one of the most prolific singers. Sadly, she died at the young age of 48 on February 11 2012. The cause of death was accidental drowning. 

Grimmie rose to fame on YouTube and The Voice. The singer was shot at point-blank range while she was signing autographs at her show back in 2016. She was only 22.

Loved for his work in Black Panther, Boseman sadly passed away in 2020 from colon cancer. He had been battling the disease privately since 2016. He was 43 years old.

Swedish DJ and music producer Avicii became one of the best-known names in music, but he struggled with his mental health for years. At 28 years old he died by suicide. 

The iconic actress was famously murdered by the Manson family at age 26. The brutal crime took place in 1969 when she was 8 months pregnant. 

Brittany Murphy died of pneumonia in December 2009. The actress was only 32 years old. 

Known for his skills in martial art, Bruce Lee etched his name in Hollywood as an actor. He died when he was only 32 years old and his cause of death remains a mystery.
