Glynis Johns: A look back at the Mary Poppins actress' career
Glynis Johns is a household name. Her face was familiar to anyone who had seen the film Mary Poppins, released in 1964 in multiplexes the world over. It was a classic feature film, from which many were familiar with the famous formula Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, from the equally inescapable song by the Sherman brothers. The actress sadly passed away on 4 January 2024, at the age of 100.
