They began their trip at Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, staying in a romantic treehouse. Alex has had a difficult year, with the passing of his brother, and working nonstop on the frontline. His family are so pleased to see him happy in a new relationship.

Alex appeared to confirm the reports about his new relationship with an Instagram post yesterday cuddled up to a beautiful blonde at Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm captioned: ‘The 🍎 of my eye.’ Ellie shared the same photos to her own Instagram feed, captioning her post simply ‘My ❤️’
Alex’s pals were clearly over the moon for him. Fellow ex-Islanders Samira Mighty and Josh Denzel both posted heart emojis under Alex’s loved-up pic, as did presenter Angela Scanlon. His sweet post has already received over 220,000 likes from his friends and fans.

Dr Alex famously didn’t find love in the Love Island villa back in the summer of 2018, despite being one of that series’ most popular Islanders. He was later rumoured to be dating snowboarder Aimee Fuller before coupling up with ex-Ibiza Weekender star Amelia Bath. They split in summer last year after over a year together.
