Eamoon Holmes surprised his fans when he announced he was dating a woman 22 years younger than him, only months after his divorce from Ruth Langsford. While their relationship has seemingly moved fast, they're not at the stage of moving in together just yet.
Katie Alexander, a 43-year-old marriage counsellor from Yorkshire, has reportedly refused to move in with the presenter in his London flat. He used to share this home in Kingston, south-west London, with his ex-wife. According to a source, the woman is co-parenting two teenage children with her ex-husband in Yorkshire, which is why she is refusing to move to London. She also has a 22-year-old son from a previous relationship. The source, who is reportedly close to Katie Alexander, told the Mail on Sunday:
There’s no way she will move in with Eamonn in the near future, or for many years. She has her children to consider. Truth be told, they are a little unsettled at her relationship being played out in the media and she doesn’t want to uproot them.
Although they are not planning on moving together, the couple reportedly gets on well, and so do their children. The source went on:

He takes jab at ex-wife Ruth Langsford's close friend
This comes as Eamonn Holmes took an unexpected and quite unnecessary jab at one of his ex-wife's close friends. While presenting GBN Breakfast on Sunday 18 May 2025, his co-host Dawn Neesom explained she attended Jeremy Vine's 60th birthday star-studded party. When Eamonn Holmes asked who she had seen in attendance, Dawn Neesom confirmed she had seen Lizzie Cundy, a close friend of Ruth Langsford. To which he responded: 'What celebrities were there?', hinting that she was not worth the title of celebrity.
Lizzy Cundy and Ruth Langsford have been close friends for years, and they were seen partying together along with Ryan Clark, soon after Ruth's split from her husband of 14 years. Despite the painful break-up, the 65-year-old presenter can count on the support of her friends, who all celebrated her birthday recently in the Caribbean. One friend told the Daily Mail:
She wants to let her hair down. This is the new Ruth that wanted to come out but was stifled by Eamonn and this is her free.
