According to Hola Magazine, Georgina Rodriguez talked about her show and her relationship with Ronaldo on the Spanish program ‘El Hormiguero,’ which has sparked some debate online. On being asked about the kind of gifts that Ronaldo and Georgina exchange, she claimed that the couple is ‘not materialistic.’
The show’s host asked her what Ronaldo gave her on her birthday, and she said:
This year, he gave me his time. My birthday always falls on game nights so I spend a few of my birthdays with him.
We spent my birthday together, with our kids, with our families.
And then he asked and what ‘do you give him? Cologne?,’ she replied:
He’s not very materialistic. We’re not materialistic.
To which the host cleverly said:
Well, he’s not materialistic because he doesn’t have anything left to buy. He has everything.

As her interview went viral, many fans found it hard to believe that one of the world’s richest people is not materialistic. Referencing to the time when Georgina gifted Ronaldo a $350,000 Rolls Royce, one fan said:
