Sam Asghari updated his 3 million followers on Instagram as he made an exception for the Christmas holidays. Posing alongside his wife Britney, he posted a sweet snap of the pair on a hilltop with a scenic view.
Sam played with words, as he captioned the post:

The first post is a still picture of the two looking at each other, while the second is an adorable video of the couple kissing.

The sweet Christmas post, however, may not have received the kind of reaction that Sam or Britney had hoped for or expected. Mirror reports, as soon as Sam posted the picture, fans went into creating new conspiracy theories about the couple. One fan commented:
The first photo is definitely not Britney! The girl is clearly wearing a wig
Another added:
Not even gonna lie that doesn’t even look like Sam when you zoom in! Like look at his chin, that’s not him!!
While another two said:

Meanwhile, some came to the couple’s rescue as they told the wild conspiracy theorising fans to leave the couple alone. One wrote:
She posts stuff, people criticise, she doesn’t post stuff people criticise, Sam posts stuff, people criticise!! Can people stop being so judgemental, the woman is living her life how she wants and needs to! Be happy for them.
Another added:
