After a pregnancy, it can be difficult to come to terms with the changes the body has undergone. But Australian blogger Constance Hall decided to embrace these changes, sharing an emotional letter on social media.
This mum is on a mission to inspire other mums to feel better about themselves. Blogger Constance Hall is a happy mother of five who is proud of her post-pregnancy body.
Constance, who used to be obsessed with her weight after going through labour, has finally changed her mind.
'I realise that not losing your baby weight isn’t a sign of letting go, it’s a sign that this Queen has evolved, she’s realised that life is not about a number on a scale, happiness is about gratitude and love and the privilege that is life.'
She took the bold step of posting photos of her body on social media to make her point clear that we shouldn’t be ashamed of our bodies after giving birth. As well as these photos, Constance published a letter about daily situations new mums experience to make all women who have given birth feel better about themselves. This letter was shared more than 125,000 times.
