In the photo, Katy Perry revealed a ring adorned with an enormous flower, made up of cream-coloured diamonds for the petals and a pink fuchsia stone for the centre. Although the ring seems very unique, it looks similar to another one: the ring that Orlando Bloom gave to his ex, Miranda Kerr, for their engagement in 2010.
A possible explanation
The Australian model's engagement ring did not have the same colours as Katy Perry's, but the shape was very similar.
However, there may be an explanation for why he chose a flower-shaped ring for these two engagements. The actor's last name, Bloom! This could explain why he favours this shape for such a symbolic piece of jewellery!
