He’s literally the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen... Soooo Handsome. I can’t wait for you all to meet him.

He was full of admiration for his fiancée after she spent a gruelling two days in labour with their little boy, who was born at 11.37pm on Saturday night - over a week overdue. Calling Rebecca his ‘idol’ and his ‘Wonder Woman’, ecstatic new dad Marcel said that he ‘could not be prouder’ of his wife-to-be.

He wrote:

I adore you mama! Absolutely adore every single ounce of you! Your my Wonder Woman! We did it mama and he’s everything we could have wished for. Thank you for carrying him and bringing him into the world! Im so emotional right now but this has blown my mind. This Little Boy Is Everything.

Meanwhile, Rebecca wrote:

I literally cannot believe how beautiful my son is I can’t stop staring at him, the love you feel is out of this world, i was in labour for 2 days and it was the most painful experience but so worth it I couldn’t believe my eyes when he was put on my chest.

What is Marcel’s baby’s name?

Marcel and Rebecca have named their baby boy Roman Somerville. The little one already has his own Instagram account with over 5,000 followers. The page so far features just one photo of the little one wearing an adorable babygro that reads ‘Hello I’m new here’ whilst clutching on to Marcel’s finger.
