We all love hearing happy news at Christmastime, and this has got us smiling from ear to ear. After welcoming their first daughter Nell last October, Love Island series 3 stars Jamie Jewitt and Camilla Thurlow have revealed that they are expecting their second child together. And in classic Jamie and Camilla style, they made the announcement in the most adorable way.
Camilla and Jamie’s baby announcement
Taking to Instagram for a joint post, the couple shared a video of Jamie and baby Nell making salt dough Christmas decorations in the shape of gingerbread men and painting them red. On the first decoration, Camilla wrote ‘Mummy July 1989’, on the second ‘Daddy May 1990’, on the third ‘Nell Oct 2020’ and on the fourth ‘?June 2022’. After placing the decorations carefully on the Christmas tree, the camera turned to Camilla, revealing her baby bump.
They captioned the sweet post:
We had an early gift this year and we couldn’t be more grateful… 3 soon to be 4, June 2022 ❤️🎄🎁👶🏻
The couple were flooded with congratulations from fans and celebrity pals alike, including Jake Quickenden and fellow ex-Islander Amber Davies.
Love Island babies
Jamie and Camilla will be the second couple formed on Love Island to become a family of four. Love Island series 2 winners Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey welcomed their son Freddie-George in 2018 before having a second child—daughter Delilah—in July 2020.
Meanwhile, Camilla and Jamie’s fellow series 3 alumni Jess Shears and Dom Lever also have a two-year-old son together. Love Island 2015 stars Cally Jane Beech and Luis Morrison also share a four-year-old daughter named Vienna, although the couple split up in 2018.
