Love Island 2021: Brad McClelland reveals truth behind shock reunion ‘turn on’

Love Island 2021’s Brad McClelland raised eyebrows by saying Lucinda and Aaron cracking on ‘turned him on.’ Now he’s revealed the truth.

The 2021 Love Island Reunion show was pretty controversial. OG Islander Jake Cornish skipped the show due to illness while Shannon Singh was left upset by her lack of screen time. Meanwhile, host Laura Whitmore was criticized by a number of fans for the ‘invasive’ questions she asked some of the Islanders.

‘Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer’

And it sounds like at least one of the Islanders wasn’t too happy with her questioning either. Brad McClelland has revealed that he was annoyed about being asked yet again about Lucinda and Aaron getting together following his villa exit. He shocked viewers by claiming that it ‘turned him on.’

During an interview with OK! magazine, Brad said:

The reason I answered the way I did, is because every single interview I did upon leaving asked me 'how did seeing Lucinda with Aaron make you feel?’ I'm sick of answering that question, I'm sure the public are sick of hearing us answer that question, so I thought 'd'ya know what? Screw this, I'll come up with a daft answer!'

Laura Whitmore previously took to Instagram to defend herself from criticism of the questions she posed to Islanders at the reunion, saying:

Everything is run through with the Islanders beforehand, it's all about choice! I only ask questions that are pre-approved by the compliance division.

Who is Brad McLelland dating?

Despite being spotted on a date with Lucinda after she left the villa and ended things with Aaron, Brad and Lucinda seem to be very much just friends now too. As far as we know, Brad is currently single - although he’s recently been spotted at Soccer Aid with Geordie Shore’s Chloe Ferry.
