While him and Liberty were at one point thought to be the winning couple of last year's season, Jake Cornish has taken a different road compared to fellow contestants.
What's Jake been doing since the show ended?
The 24-year-old has decided to shy away from the spotlight and remain in the Southwest to work as an aerobics instructor, and took to social media to look for new clients. In the Instagram Live, Cornish said:
I'm back here in Wells in Somerset and obviously the fitness classes are going to boom. Anyone in the Wells, Somerset, Shepton, Glastonbury... this is in Wells.
Women's only or mixed. If you want to come on down or want me to do a class in Wells this is where it'll be, this is the vibe. Give me a message, I want to see who's about.
However, this doesn't mean the former water engineer isn't active on the social media game. Though to a lesser degree than winner Liam Reardon or some of the other girls who were on the show, he still takes part in paid partnership ads. After all, that is where the big bucks are made...
A passion for exercise
It's no surprise the former Love Islander is looking to make a living working out. In a recent post on Instagram, he shared his work-out routine with fans to shed light on the importance of persistence to reach his fitness goals. He said:
I get asked quite a lot about my fitness routine. Down at my stomping ground @trojanfitness_bristol I’ve just started to train anaerobic fitness twice a week to keep fit and keep as lean as possible burning as many calories as I can in the high intensity workout. The rest of the week I will be lifting weights still to keep as much muscle mass as possible.
