"I’m queer. I’ve identified as bisexual since I was a teenager. I just want to feel powerful in my own skin, my own mind and in my own heart” said an iconic actor of the Pretty Little Liars series, to The Advocate magazine. This is Tyler Blackburn, alias Caleb Rivers, who came out to take a weight off his shoulders.

He says he “fought” against his attraction to men.
At 32 years old, Tyler Blackburn decided not to hide anymore, and to live the life he wants. The bisexual man who plays Caleb Rivers has told of how he lived a hellish life when he was still struggling with who he was. “I think for the longest time, I suppressed more of my attraction to men”, he explained to The Advocate. As a young man, like a lot of homosexual people, Tyler Blackburn was subject to bullying at school. “I ended up eating lunch in my biology classroom in 10th grade, and I had no one to talk to”, he stressed.
He started to listen to listen to his own needs at the end of the Pretty Little Liars series. “It wasn’t until my late 20s, towards the end of Pretty Little Liars, that I really allowed myself to go there and not just wonder about it or lust over it, but experience that vulnerability and experience the emotional aspect of what it is to be bisexual.”
