Hugo Hammond is now on Tinder and Hinge

Love Island 2021 contestant Hugo Hammond appears to be continuing his search for love on the popular dating apps.

If you found yourself lusting after Hugo Hammond in the Love Island villa this summer, you might want to download Tinder and Hinge pronto. The reality star has been spotted using both apps this week, with Tinder and Hinge users screen-shotting and sharing his profile after coming across him while swiping.

While you might think you were being catfished if you suddenly came across a reality star while swiping, the profiles appear to be genuine as they are linked to Hugo’s Instagram account and his Tinder profile has a blue verified tick.

Hugo’s Tinder profile pic is refreshingly natural as he sits on the floor in front of a sofa with a chocolate brown labrador. Both Hugo’s Hinge and Tinder profiles seem to throw some shade at Love Island. His Tinder bio reads: ‘Tinder> Love island’ with a side-eyes and laughing face Emoji. Meanwhile, Hugo lists ‘Reality Tv’ as the one thing he’ll never do again on his Hinge profile. So we’re unlikely to see him on Celebs Go Dating anytime soon.

Hugo’s dating journey

Hugo is obviously hoping to have more luck in finding romance online than he did in the villa. Despite having multiple girls - including Sharon Gaffka, AJ Bunker, Amy Day and Georgia Townend - interested in him, Hugo emerged from the villa totally single.

In a post-villa interview with Christine Lampard on Lorraine, Hugo said:

I think potentially I didn’t really want to compromise for love. I‘ve got a type and I know what I’m looking for and I wouldn’t say I was picky, but I just didn’t get that spark that a lot of the other boys were looking for with their girls.
