Chloe posted a photo to her Instagram story on Wednesday that seemed to show her wearing a hospital gown and strapped into a car. Her face couldn’t be seen in the shot, which was captioned:

Hi guys, I’ve just been collected from hospital due to being in a serious car accident.
She continued:
I won’t be responding to anyone until I can. I am in a lot of pain and distress.
She ended the message to her followers with a simple red heart emoji. Chloe has not updated her social media pages since then.
Who is Chloe Crowhurst?
Chloe Crowhurst was a contestant on series 3 of Love Island. She coupled up with Sam Gowland on the show but their relationship didn’t last long. After leaving the villa, she rekindled her relationship with Love Island series 1 runner-up Jon Clark but they split again in November 2017.
Chloe has since admitted that she agreed to go on Love Island to make Jon jealous after producers begged her to come on the show. She previously revealed:
They were turning up at my work and felt really pressured and one day they were like, 'I’ve booked you a flight' and I told them 'see you later I ain’t doing it, I’ve told you numerous times I’m not doing it'. Then two days later I started getting loads of messages from people and I thought what better revenge than to go onto Love Island.
Chloe Crowhurst wouldn’t recommend Love Island
Chloe has also said that she wouldn’t recommend going on Love Island, saying:
You don't get no support. After the show I was on my own, after the producers kept asking me to do the show, I thought they keep in touch after, but nothing.
