Perry has recently announced her pregnancy to her fans but her parents are taking precautions due to the spreading virus and are careful not to potentially cause any harm to the singer or her baby:

'My parents fist-bumped me the other day. I was like, "What? Okay. I don't know... cool. I came out of them and everything, but I was like, "Sure, yeah." That's what watching the news forever will do, I guess!'

Even Gwyneth Paltrow has taken to social media to express her flying experience and urged everyone to keep safe after making a joke about her 2011 film, Contagion stating:

"I've already been in this movie. Stay safe. Don't shake hands. Wash hands frequently."

Not only are celebrities promoting washing hands and safety precautions while travelling, but many are also donating money to the cause. Justin Bieber donated ¥200,000 RMB to the Beijing Chunmiao Charity Foundation, claiming on Instagram:

“Watching the news I couldn’t imagine how scary it would be if a new disease was effecting my wife and my family and friends. China we stand with you as a collective humanity and have made a donation to support. Whether it be this or the fires of Australia we all need to be there for each other.”

Donatella Versace was another donator, also coming from a heavily infected countryshe donated ¥1 million RMB to the Chinese Red Cross Foundation.

Jackie Chan has also offered a monetary award to the first organisation that finds a vaccine for Covid-19.
