'It was like a murder scene'

Chatting with her sister, Mandi, on Sisters in the City—the podcast they host together—the duo explained how both of them came very close to death after undergoing a Brazilian bum lift. Anna explained having already undergone the procedures once before in London. She said:

A Brazilian butt lift is a fat transfer where they take fat from other parts of your body and they put it into your bum.

And added:

When we first did it, it was really good. We went to a really good place in London, a reputable surgeon, recovery...good. Minimal scars. We went to too far when we did it again.

According to the Love Island star, the real horror happened the second time around, when both sisters decided to revisit the surgery but, this time, on a budget in Turkey. Anna went on to say:

The second time we did it, we went abroad to Turkey and me and Mandi thought we were going to die abroad. It was very scary. After our surgery, within a day or two, we were in a hotel room about to faint with blood all over the hotel room.

Before adding:

It was like a murder scene, we both collapsed in hotel room. Bandaged up, bleeding... it was like a horror movie.

Her reason for speaking up

The social media influencer, who also happens to be a full time pharmacist, decided to candidly talk about her relationship with plastic surgery to prevent others from making the same mistake. She explained that though she encourages the use of plastic surgery as as means of self-empowerment, she also stressed the importance properly researching surgeons and procedures. She admitted:

I do wish sometimes I did certain things differently so if me being open can guide someone when making this life changing decision then it’s for the best. Everyone should do whatever makes them happy as long as they are doing it for themselves, they’ve done their research and are sure of their decision.
